Founded by award winning Producer Linda Catalano, Quiet RIOT believes art making has the capacity to create change by encouraging others to look at the world around them differently. We are producers, agents, curators, tastemakers & problem solvers. We work with artists to initiate, develop & create art, & take it to audiences across Australia & around the world. Radical kindness, curiosity, social justice & carefully considered strategy & collaborations with artists to create contemporary works across genres, cultures, styles & scale is at the heart of what we do. Our work incudes small independent venue presentations, major theatre and festival productions & large-scale major outdoor events. Booking Agency
We work as booking agents to find pathways for works we represent nationally and internationally.
Programming & Curation
We have curated festivals, venues, community events, live show series, residencies and special events. With experience in music, physical theatre, circus, comedy, cabaret and theatre and we feel confident programming within multiple genres and for diverse audiences in a variety of settings.
Mentoring
We also offer 1:1 mentoring for self-produced artists.
Creative Development
We work with our partners and collaborators to develop new ideas or further develop existing ones. We are adept at finding ways to road test interrogate and innovate concepts. Script development and readings, rehearsal and development showings, set and costume development and research are some of the ways we foster creative development. We can help you go from indoor to outdoor, from theatre to stadium, from script to screen and everything in between.
Executive Producing
Project financing and investment and business case development is also something we offer alongside grant writing when we are acting as Executive Producers on a project.
Project Producing & Tour Management
We can take care of tour management and delivery including the booking, scheduling and delivery of national and international tours, management of ticketing, marketing, PR, sponsorship, travel bookings/logistics, casting, talent agency and venue negotiations and post-production analysis etc.
Strategy Development
